Blended Learning

Dan Peters makes a compelling case for Blended Learning in the EmpowerU session last Thursday Night in Evendale.    You can see a complete recording of the session here.    Blending Learning offers students many advantages over our current school model which just isn’t working.   It allows 1) students to work at their own pace.   2) It allows teachers to coach students where they need help.  3) It will lower the cost structure of schools systems (where it has been shown we are spending twice as much per student as we once were–with no improvement in results).   4) It will allow each student to get individual attention in the areas they need it.    We all need to think BIG about the problems our school systems are having and how to solve them.    Maybe this is a very good place to start.
