Try different types and varieties of herbs and spices for example; basil, drying hot peppers, marjoram, sage, lavender, fennel, dill. Watch them grow! There are many benefits to growing your own food. You can even grow in an apartment or patio. There are so many more varieties and colors out there than in the grocery store.
